All of the pieces here are available at the Arvada Center Art Market  which opens on December 9, 2008 and runs through December 14, 2008. These little pieces are 5"X5" and 8"X10" in format. They are made of cut paper, acrylic paint, and raw pigment. I cut the paper and collage the images onto the glass and the press the glass into the frame while the image is still wet to achieve a texture, color surface.  All of the works shown here retails for $25.00-- a nice lttle gift for anyone.

Birds #1-76.
Now the question is about birds 77-100.  What happens? Do they fill in around?  What about a bird landing  on something?  Is this it?  Not really. There's much more to place into this picture  and really many more birds--- enter--- the challenge.

A pelican feeding three babies.  The image is becoming  more interesting.  The pelican feeding the three is still  in process.  What more could happen with it?  Not really sure...

The drawings  look like little cartoon stories , thoughts, ideas. Looking at the clean black line and the watercolor -- it is true that there are so many different 'tones of voice' to speaking--- verbally and what  is considered  visually.  Stepping back and looking at the drawings they are  decidedly different in approach   but some how all  have the same  'sound' with various degrees of intensity.
